Pet Travel to EU countries

Microchip & rabies vaccination (at least 21 days before travel)
Health check before travel (details entered in passport)

Pet Travel to USA & Canada

No special requirements. Private health certificate issued by your vet approximately 7 days before export for USA- 3 days for Canada.
Rabies vaccination advised.

Pet Travel to South Africa

Rabies vaccination (advised)
Import permit
Export health certificate issued by DEFRA
Blood tests
Worm/tick treatment

Pet Travel to Australia

Microchip
Rabies vaccination (must be valid until end of quarantine period)
Rabies blood test (AT LEAST 6 months prior to travel)
All other booster vaccinations up to date.
Import permit
Export health certificate issued by DEFRA
Blood tests
Worm/tick treatments
10 days quarantine on arrival in Australia (Melbourne only)

Pet Travel to New Zealand

Microchip
Rabies vaccination (AT LEAST 6 months prior to travel)
Rabies blood test (AT LEAST 3 months prior to travel)
All other vaccination up to date.
Import permit
Export health certificate issued by DEFRA
Blood tests
Worm/tick treatments
10 days quarantine on arrival in New Zealand

Pet Travel t0 UAE

Microchip
Rabies vaccination and other boosters up to date
Import permit
Export health certificate issued by DEFRA
